How we work
Four phases. Six weeks. One senior person all the way through.
Most agency processes are designed to justify the invoice. Ours is designed to ship the work. No discovery month, no production hand-off, no project manager translating between you and the people doing the build. You meet your senior on day one and that’s who you talk to through launch.
What’s different about how we work
- One senior owner, kickoff to launch. No layered teams, no account-manager middlemen. The person on your first call is the person in your last one.
- Written commitments, not best efforts. Every phase has a deliverable named in the proposal and a week assigned to it. If something threatens the schedule, you hear it before it slips.
- Real content from week one. We write and load your real copy and images during the build — no “fill this in later.” You launch a finished site, not a template waiting for someone to staff it.
- Fixed price, in writing. Scope changes mean a written re-quote before any work begins. There is no surprise invoice in this process.
01 · Listen · Week 1
A working session, not a discovery questionnaire. We sit with you — in person or over video — and dig into who you serve, what makes you different, what’s working, and what isn’t. Three hours, structured but conversational, with whoever owns the decision in the room.
What you see this phase
- A working positioning document — audience, value prop, voice notes
- A draft sitemap and content outline
- A confirmed timeline with every phase end-date in writing
02 · Shape · Weeks 1–2
Design direction, real copy, the visual system. You see homepage and one interior template fully designed — not mood boards or three-option comps. We pick a direction together in a single review and commit. One round of considered revisions beats three rounds of safe ones.
What you see this phase
- Final copy for every page, in Google Docs, ready for your review
- Homepage and one interior template designed to fidelity
- Component library — buttons, cards, forms — for sign-off
03 · Build · Weeks 2–5
Custom child theme on Kadence, every page built and loaded with your real content. You see weekly progress on a staging URL — not a screenshot deck. A 30-minute mid-build review keeps surprises to zero.
What you see this phase
- A live staging site you can click through any time, password-protected
- Weekly Friday update — what shipped, what’s next, where any blockers sit
- Mid-build review at week three to catch course-corrections early
04 · Ship · Week 6+
Launch is a Tuesday morning, not a fire drill. Full QA, redirect map, analytics installed, a 60-minute team training so your people can take over with confidence. Then 30 days of post-launch support — bugs, tweaks, small additions, no invoice.
What you see this phase
- A 12-point pre-launch QA report — performance, accessibility, redirects, analytics
- A 60-minute editor training, recorded so your team can re-watch
- A written launch summary — what shipped, what’s monitored, what comes next
- 30 days of included post-launch support
